I like FREE especially if it does what I need it to do. So far, everything seems to be working as advertised with the FREE Basic version. Having a package installed on both my Microsoft Windows laptop and my Linux desktop PCs that do this and more for me is a big plus. In my particular case, I typically need to combine pages of documents in PDF or other formats into one large PDF document for portability and ease of use.

I’ve been looking for such an application as PDFsam for a while since I have had to rely on the Cloud alternatives when I wanted to perform the actions on a PDF mentioned above. However, there are many open source applications in Windows, MacOS, and Linux that will render PDF documents at least in read-only mode.
